Tactisaddle began over 30 years ago with my first hunts out of a saddle. The only saddle available was the Anderson Tree Sling. It was the best saddle available and I killed deer using it! But I found myself making modifications to it. Finally I just decided to sew a saddle tailored to fit my body and needs. It worked so well that I started getting requests from friends and family members and I have been making saddles ever since.
Last year after my name started getting out there and many people asking me about my custom made tree saddles. It took about a year to acquire the commercial grade sewing machines, supplies, and perform enough testing to be able offer these for sale to other hunters. In 2019 Tactisaddle was born!
Today all Tactisaddles are made right here in my home shop and sewn by myself using mil-spec and industrial webbing (no elastic), with and my amazing family helping when they can. We are custom making these saddles to order and to the specifications and needs of each hunter.
